I think the best opener wuold be Blackened. But for a change my dream opener would be AND JUSTICE FOR ALL. imageine it.its dark then u hear that acoustic intro.then all the sudden a kurtin drops.right as it falls they play that heavy part. and the first thing u see as the kurtin drops is the and justice for all statue.FUCKING SWEET. i can almost feel my balls getting lower just thinking about it.

I agree 100% that it is Justice. Weirdly enough, that was the first Metallica album I got into. But I didn't appreciate songs like "...And Justice For All" and "To Live Is To Die" until much later.

I have been listening since "And Justice for All." I bought it sometime in either 1988 or 1989, so I was either 14 or 15 at the time. I liked it, but not enough to get the other albums. Then the Black Album came out in 1991 and I bought that. That got me hooked enough to go back at get the first three albums plus the Garage Days EP. And they have been my favorite band ever since!

My favorite Metallica (Jaymz) item would be my ESP JH-2 Black Diamond Plate Explorer.....#56 of 200 made. For those unfamiliar. That is a signature ESP Explorer released in 1998 and only 200 were made total. My second favorite item would be my Gold ...And Justice for All CD. It came with fake pre-printed signatures of Jaymz, Jason, Kirk, and Lars. But I had it done for real in 2000 @ the Starplex Amphitheatre in Dallas when they were on their first Summer Sanitarium Tour. Nothing would top those for me. Other than Hetfield actually handing me an Explorer after he used it on stage! That would never happen!

Frayed Ends of Sanity - They've been teasing audiences with the intro for the whole tour...In Ottawa I freaked because I thought they were actually going to play it. Would be an awesome song to end the tour with.

Am I Evil - It's a classic Metallica encore, I'd love to hear it played on the last few tour dates.

On a personal note I would die happy to hear Astronomy live. No song would make me happier than Astronomy!

Other than the above I can also picture Metallica whipping out some super long tunes like ...And Justice For All or Mercyful Fate Medley just for the hell of it. Or even playing a couple more St.Anger tunes *crosses fingers hoping for Shoot Me Again.*.

I want to get some Anvil, Phandamodium (I think I spelled that right, but, I know I murdered it), and some Dirty Looks on CD. Man I might have to get a list together of the CD's that I have, you guys are getting my hear a pumping.

I discovered Metallica through *cringe* the radio and tv.
I was hardly into heavy music, and I heard Until it Sleeps.
I loved it and bought the Load album.
I ended up loving pretty much all of the songs off load, more particularly Bleeding Me and The Outlaw Torn.
These songs even started my love of long progressive songs as well as my introduction to heavy music.
After this I borrowed MOP off a friend, then And Justice For all and then went out and bought all the cds (Load was the latest at that time).
I purchased Reload when it came out, however didn't really like it as much, then by accident I left my tallica cds ontop of my car and drove off, all 7 of them. Never to be seen again....
I have never got all the cds back, and due to various break ins, i now don't have any metallica cds. :(
After Reload, i haven't really liked any of their releases except S & M.
Metallica have been one of my biggest influences musically and on so many more levels (at that time), regardless of whether I like their current music or not. I must say a big thanks to the fellas.

They have played Whiskey twice I believe (maybe a little more) on this tour. I just heard it on the new MetOnTour video in Canada.

I felt like starting a prediction for rare songs being played live. As you all know during this tour Metallica has whipped out Dyers Eve, Disposable Heroes, The Call of Ktulu, The God That Failed, The Unforgiven, Trapped Under Ice etc... but there are still songs left to play.

List only the rare songs they haven't played yet and you are confident they will play before the tour ends.

This morning I was in a book store and they had books on the best selling albums from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. I looked at the ones from the 70s, 80s, and 90s and something really got to me. It didn't bother me so much that in the 70s book that Black Sabbath's Paranoid was only #63 and sold 4 million albums (although for its time that was awesome) and that their Debut wasn't in their at all (I wasnt surprised by it but IMO I think its better than Paranoid).

I read the 80s book and I was glad to see where Master of Puppets and ...And Justice For All ended up. Puppets was #49(it sold 6.1 million) and Justice was #39(it sold 7.1 million). Thats awesome numbers since Metallica was still somewhat of an unknown, although their music video for "One" probably changed that a little. I was a little disappointed that Ride The Lightning wasn't on there and I thought Ozzy's Blizzard of Oz did better than what was shown,it was #100 with 4.1 million sold, although that is still very good.

Now we come to the 90's book and this is where I got very angry. Metallica's Black Album we all now was huge success and it shows in the book. It was #12 with 13.3 million sold. Now that is just amazing but what made me furious was the albums in front of it. There was Britney Spears debut which was at #10 and sold 600,000 more copies than the Black Album and there were 2 FUCKIN BACKSTEET BOYS albums ahead of it. WOW. I knew those albums sold alot but shit that much? These people arent even around anymore. They were a fuckin fad, they dont have talent. I cant believe a Backstreet boys album sold 16 million!!!!!!!!!WTF is wrong with people? I know I am overreacting but I found it pretty shocking that they sold that much and were ahead of something truly amazing.
